Ten artists participated in the event, "Art at the Governor's House", a fundraiser for the McDaniel-Tichenor in Monroe, Georgia. Music, wine, wonderful food, and art was the order for the day! Take a look...

MAG's "Exploring the Senses" Opening Reception, James Madison Inn, Madison, GA, October, 2015

LIPS inspired this wonderful Madison Artists Guild's Members' Only Exhibit at the James Madison Inn in downtown Madison, Georgia,  Miami based artist, Enrique Mora, with his wonderful works of art depicting women in their many roles as mothers, wives, friends, lovers, etc. ...all with his signature "red lips" was the initial inspiration. The theme took a life of its own...take a look at some of the pictures from the Opening Reception and the unique creativity of some of the artists. The art will be on display until April, 2016...stop by The Oak Room at the James Madison Inn across from Town Park if you are traveling through historic Madison, Georgia.

Madison Artists' Guild's Opening Reception for "Exploring the Senses" at the James Madison Inn in downtown Madison was a success! I was honored to have my mixed media piece, "Kindred Spirits" on the mailer for the show. "The Girls"...fun, mixed media works of art inspired by, "Kindred Spirits" were on display. These pieces are 4 x 12, gallery-wrapped and have their own personality & energy.
