Trinkets' Summer Jewelry & Art Camps, 2014

Trinkets will be offering several sessions of its, "The Art of Jewelry Design" camps this summer at Canavan Home & Arts Center in Madison, the Monroe Art Guild in Monroe, and the Glynn Art Association on St. Simon's Island.

Robert Miller Mixed Media Workshop

We had a fabulous time yesterday at the Robert Miller Mixed Media Workshop at Sunshine Village Gallery in Watkinsville.  The subject matter was a rooster...everyone's rooster had a different look...but the colors were fabulous! As usual, Robert was a joy!

Trinkets' 21st Century Jewelry Classes at MadisonFest

Trinkets' 21st Century classes have been making some fabulous jewelry. These wonderful pieces will be at MadisonFest on Saturday, April 26, 2014 with the student artists who designed each piece. This will be a great time to purchase Mothers' Day gifts as well as an opportunity to meet these future entrepreneurs. Here are some pictures from MadisonFest, 2013...

Trinkets' 21st Century Student...New Talent in Art & Jewelry Design

Adilene Padilla, a student in the 21st Century program in Athens, GA, is talented in art as well as jewelry design. Adilene entered three of her paintings in the MCAAM Jewelry Trunk Show. Here is one of Adilene's most recent jewelry designs as well as a sample of her art. Adilene has also started making jewelry outside of the classroom. Best of luck in your new venture, Adilene!

21st Century Student Makes Wonderful Jewelry

Mia Wilhite, one of the students in the 21st Century "Art of Jewelry Design" classes in Athens, GA, has made some wonderful jewelry for the upcoming MCAAM Jewelry Trunk Show. Mia was one of the top sellers at the first show in November. She has an eye for color and attention to detail... good traits for a jewelry designer. Congratulations, Mia, on your beautiful designs!

21st Century Students study Morocco

21st Century students at Clarke Central & Cedar Shoals 
are studying the culture and traditions of Morocco. Morocco is a mosaic of cultures, tribes, influences, and colors. The jewelry draws on a wealth of traditions. The jewelry there is full of colorful beads, engraved florals, enamel beads...in a variety of designs.
