As we are leaving the beautiful property, we stop by the rustic guesthouse that is home to many pictures of the first family who owned the farm, the Fears, as well as Bobby's family. This guesthouse was a former 1900's general store. Now it houses guests as well as serves as a station for the groom & his men during any wedding festivities. During the tour, it served as headquarters for Trinkets Jewelry & Art showcasing the new bridal earring collection featuring Kasumi flameball pearls by Rita Knight.

As we stroll from the main house to the guesthouse, we meet a Southern belle, Rae Merritt and her husband, Charles. As we enter the guesthouse, we get a sense of stepping back in time...Bobby has done a wonderful restoration as well as adding touches from the past. The jewelry & art of Rita Knight and hand-painted floor cloths by Molly Lesnikowski of Rutledge, GA are displayed throughout the house.

Sterling Silver Jewelry...Care & Cleaning

Sterling silver jewelry looks fabulous year 'round, but especially in the summer! Unfortunately, .925 sterling silver has copper in it which reacts with oxygen and produces tarnish. Pure silver jewelry does not tarnish.

For general cleaning, use a polishing cloth. Commercial dips & polishes are too harsh.

For cleaning sterling silver jewelry with crevices, try this easy method:

1.  Fill a bowl with enough warm water to cover your jewelry.
2.  Pour in a small amount of mild soap and slosh it around to mix.
3.  Add jewelry and use a brand new sponge to gently scrub it.
4.  Don't allow jewelry to soak very long; this prevents water spots.
5.  Rinse each piece well under running warm or cool water to remove soap.
6.  Don't forget to dry each piece well with a microfiber cloth or towel.
