Ideas of What to Write in Your Artist Newsletter

As the 2018-2019 school year is starting for Trinkets 21st Century Jewelry-Making/Entrepreneurship classes, I am planning to blog on different aspects of starting your own business.

The first aspect is keeping your clients informed of what is going on with your business through a newsletter. Of course, if you have an etsy shop or web site, your clients will want to be
updated & this is a fun and easy way to do it.

Some of the ideas that you might want to consider are:

1.    Updates on new designs or artworks you have created.
2.    Progress photos of your artworks or jewelry designs. People love to see the process...
       so start documenting.
3.    Upcoming exhibitions or festivals
4.    Sales you have made
5.    Business tips for aspiring jewelry makers or artists
6.    Inspirational quotes from other artists
7.    Any meaning or story behind an art work
8.    Revisiting old work
9.    New blog posts and other updates on your web site
10.  E-books, on-line courses, workshops you have taken or created
11.  Failures and challenges you have encountered
12.  Reviews of art products
13.  Share artwork of others
14.  Other artists who have inspired you
15.  Your background...why you became an artist
