Rita Knight Designs, Summer 2025

 Summer 2025

Fishtales, a wonderful shop on Lake Oconee, is moving to a new location in September. Fishtales has carried my angels and mixed media collages for almost a year. They are THE location for the Lake Oconee area for brand-name clothing for men and women, Christian books, and gifts. Check out the new logo and the story behind this unique shop. I will be posting their new address soon. It is very close to their present location.

I participated in a class this summer with Michelle McKirahan from His Jewel Ministry. We hand-painted silk scarves. It was so much fun & inspirational!

Grand Bohemian Hotel Holiday Market/ The Traveling Penny/Resin Art

This hotel was a fabulous addition to downtown Greenville. The Holiday Market is outside every year in front of the hotel, and it is so well done. We found a wonderful vendor, The Traveling Penny. It is a young couple who have a traveling charm bar. They are available for pop-ups and private events. Go to their site to see the adorable "truck" they use for travel. Abby found a necklace with a coin charm. They can adjust necklaces for any length. We enjoyed the sites in the lobby of The Grand Bohemian and the view of The Falls in downtown Greenville. There were two resin paintings in the lobby that were gorgeous! I instantly thought of Mark Nelson who does the resin paintings at MAGallery and shared them with him.

Antiquing in Greenville, SC

This year Abby and I went to Greenville, SC to spend some time with Amanda, Jonathan, and Harper. I rented a wonderful Airbnb near their home, and we spent two nights. Abby and I got to steal a few moments to check out some neat antique places. Artifacts was one of my favorites. The shop had antiques on one side, an interesting garden area, and artists' studios on the other end.

The Rock House Antiques was another neat place for antiques.  There were different vendors there. It was voted..."Best Antique Store" in Greenville this year.

Starting 2025 with Snow in Madison, Georgia!

Madison started off 2025 with Snow! It was beautiful for about three or four hours. Then the temperature fell, and it started melting. Here are some of the scenes from this rare snow day!
